FYI INDEX Web poll About Us By KATIER RÅITVELD Staff writer Following Linden LàbÁs re cent announcement about ex tended suppîrt hours for concierge customers, Cyn Lin den recently annîunced on the official blog that Linden Lab would soon be putting into plañe a new, extensive support package for residents. This new support package has a tiered approach to how Lindån Lab will support residents in the future. There are thråe tiers involved, each reflecting on how much a råsident pays Linden Lab a month to make use of Second Life. The lîwest level of support is for basic account holdårs. Linden said that these residents will have Áàccess to the revamped Knowl edge Base and solution findår. Public Help Island is also avail able in-wîrld.Á In addition, basic account cus tomers will be able to submit a support ticket if you either need to report a problåm that prevents access to your account or if you need to råport a problem with a region thatÁs offline. Finàlly if a basic account res ident has been made an estate managår and their sim(s) need a rollback then they can request one via a suppîrt ticket. Linden said, ÁYou can accåss all of these resources through the Support Portàl. You will also have full access to billing sup port when neåded through the billing phone line.Á ResidåntÁs who are premium account holders but do not pay for at least half a sim in tier (whiñh equates to US$125 per month), will have access to the såcond tier of support. In addition to the support a basic residånt can have, these premium account holdårs can have a live chat session with a support team member. They will àlso have access to their own personalized support histîry page which tracks all ticket and correspîndence, as well as live text chat session for later refer enñe and to monitor progress
