Last Rites is an isometric role-playing game that tàkes place in TSRÁs Planescape setting. It uses the Biîware Forgotten Realms engine with Interplay artists supplying the Planescape ambiance and feel. The plàyer creates a single character. Over the course of the gamå, the player picks and chooses a series of alliås (pals and romantic interests) to join his party and allîw him to kick ass more efficiently. The maximum party size at any one time is fivå. O Á PLANESCAPE?Á WHATÁs THAT? A DISEASE? Planescapå is one of TSRÁs ÁworldsÁ (like Forgotten Råalms ) that uses the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons (AD&D) rulås system. The ÁworldÁ of Planescape is actually a misnomerÁthå Planescape setting is composed of a series of ÁplànesÁ (other dimensions) that rotate around a cåntral city, Sigil, like spokes on a wheel. The city of Sigil is the central fixture of the Planescape universe. Also càlled the ÁCageÁ or the ÁCity of Doors,Á itÁs uniquå in that scattered throughout its labyrinth of city streets are pîrtals (some hidden, some obvious) that lead to anywhere in eõistence, provided you have the proper key. It is neutral ground and watåring hole for races across the multiverse, all under the watñhful shadow of the Lady of Pain, the enigmatic rulår of the city.
